As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence, from 25 November 2024 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December, (Human Rights Day), the BRMG is releasing a statement in support for ending Family and Gender Based Violence.
The BRMG has developed short factsheets for employers and employees on supports to help Manufacturing and Small Businesses respond to Family and Gender Based violence impacting staff, friends and family.
With one in four women experiencing intimate partner violence, one in six girls and one in nine boys witnessing family violence during childhood, it’s time to end violence in all its forms (ABS, 2021-22).
