This week Bendigo Regional Manufacturing Group members gathered with representatives of the City of Greater Bendigo to thank long-time member Rod Thomson of Bendigo Pottery for his incredible service to the BMG/BRMG over the past 20 years.
Rod’s contribution over that time, particularly in fostering industry connection in local education was recognised. Rod was heavily involved in the establishment and support of the Goldfields LLEN’s Passions & Pathways program and up until recently chaired the Bendigo Tech School’s Advisory Committee.
In 2022 Bendigo Pottery was named “Business of the Year” at the Be.Bendigo Business Excellence Awards. BRMG Chairman Mark Brennan noted on the night that the award was appropriate recognition for a fantastic business and many years of continued service to the broader community.
